Level A Level A has extensive 18-20 modules intended to lay the foundation for preliminary understanding of professional skills in services sector. Trainees begin with training in Communication Skills, Personality Development, Public Speaking, People Development, Soft Skills, Negotiations Skills, IT Skills, Laws, Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Statistical & Quantitative Techniques, Research Methodology, Marketing Skills, Selling Skills along with Domestic & Global Environmental Studies.All modules are mandatory. At the end of the level A, students will be well equipped to choose their multiple specialization. Level B Before getting admitted to Level B the Candidate has to complete intensive industry research of 75 days which will provide practical experience of Corporate Culture.Level B comprises of compulsory modules as well as optional specialization modules.Students get ready to face global corporate career with intensive study of modules like Strategies for Modern Business, Control Systems, Global Perspectives in Business, Entrepreneurship Development and Ethics Development as well as in depth inputs in multiple specializations like Marketing, Finance and HR.
Post Graduate Program - (Retail Management)
Although retailing in its various formats had been around our country for many years, it was confined for a long time to family or 'mom-and pop' stores. Now, various professional organization are busy setting up shops and retailing in India; they have passion to be closer to consumers.
This industry had contributed to the economic growth of many countries and is undoubtedly one of the fastest changing dynamic industries in the world today.
At this time when the country's retailing business is going through a transformation, there is a compelling need for those involved in retailing and those who want to be involved to understand the phenomenon systematically so that they can practice in perfectly.
Keeping the above mentioned points in mind *PGP Retail is designed to traine skilled manpower. The entire proragmme will be conducted by selective and eminent, faculty members who have a rich experience in Retail Industry. Intensive industry interaction with the students will be an integral part of the course.
*PGP RETAIL - COURSE STRUCTURE Level A
This has extensive 18-20 modules intended to lay the foundation for preliminary understanding of professional skills in retailing sector. Trainees begin their training in Communication Skills, IT skills, Laws, Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Statistical & Quantitative Techniques, Research Methodology, People Development, Selling Skills and Introduction to Retailing. All modules are mandatory. At the end of Level A, students would be equipped to do the project work.
Level B
Before getting admitted to Level B candidate has to complete intensive industry research of 75 days which provide practical experience of Retail Industry as well as corporate culture. Level B comprises of compulsory modules. Like Retail Skills, Floor Management, E-tailing, Channel Handling, Retail Marketing, Customer Relationship studies, Brand studies, strategies for Modem Business, Advt. and PR Service Marketing and Merchandising etc .
